As you are aware, education in Wales is in a period of transition towards ‘Curriculum for Wales.’ This means that as a school we are in the process of developing our own bespoke curriculum, inspired by and created specifically for your children.

We have completed our planning of three areas of learning so far; Health and Well-Being, Expressive Arts and Humanities. This academic year we are working on Science and Technology, Maths and Numeracy, Languages and Literacy.

The pupil led planning on here is a reflection of our new approach, we are taking the children’s ideas and interests into account within our topic. We are still following our old medium-term plans for Literacy, Maths and Science until we make the change over the course of 2021-2022.
