The Criw Cymraeg are a group of pupils who meet regularly with Mrs Griffiths, Mrs Barrow and Mrs Thomas to help raise the profile of Wales and the Welsh language across the school.

Our aims as the Criw Cymraeg are to ensure and promote the following:

1. Bishopston Primary School has a strong sense of our cynefin
2. Our pupils know about and love our Welsh culture and language
3. Welsh is used daily in our classrooms
4. Staff and pupils use Welsh outside the classroom through games and songs
5. We celebrate Wales and the Welsh language in our assemblies
6. We use Welsh apps and websites
7. We make Welsh meaningful and fun!
8. We read books in Welsh
9. We use Welsh across all Areas of Learning
10. Staff and pupils are proud to be Welsh
