Reasonably common issues in school
The following link is very helpful in advising how long to keep children off. The most common one is diarrhoea and/or vomiting - children should be kept off for 48 hours from last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting.
School Nursing Services Welcome pack for all Reception pupils
As your child has entered full time school, we would like to welcome and introduce you to the School Nursing Service. The welcome pack gives more details on the role of the School Nurse and the Service that is available via your school’s website. The School Nursing Team will be visiting the school during this academic year to complete the Height, weight and vision screening programme. If you do not want your child included in this programme, please contact the School Nursing Service on 01639 862801 or by emailing SBU.SchoolNursing@wales.nhs.uk.
